Money to charities

Cheque presentationTwice a year, we give money to a nominated charity through presenting them with a cheque.

We received £8,000 from the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management from our recycling of metals, which we presented to The Royal British Legion charity.

We have recently donated £12,000 to the Children’s Cancer North charity which provides support to young cancer patients and their families. This money was raised by sending non-compostable items such as coffin screws and orthopaedic implants for recycling. Any cash raised is sent back to us for a good cause chosen by our trustees.
